Very balanced, elegant dark red, full, fragrant wine. Very recognizable nose of liquorice and very balanced, elegant dark red, full, fragrant wine. Evoces aromas of plums and blackberries. Spicy touch of black pepper, barrique-notes and vanilla. Beautiful round wine, with very soft tannins and a nice touch of wood. Wonderfully aromatic with a long aftertaste.
Surprisingly soft tannins with ripe acidity.
A small touch of minerality in the finish.
Vinification: in stainless steel barrels, using Pied-de-Cuve and native yeasts, battonage and maturation on fine lees for 5 months, on old French barrique for 6 months
Pairing: perfect with red meat, bird game, cheese plates, authentic cold Spanish tapas (cheese, ham, chorizo, sausages…) Delicious with veal, ossobucco, lamb, ..
Cellar: storage potential of 10-15 years
