On Tenerife and all the other 7 Canarian Islands, there are more then 1000 active winemakers. Many of them are small farmers, making wine for themselves, their family, some related Guacinches (farmer-restaurants). Less then 100 Bodega’s are really making a living from their winery, protecting the typical landscape at the same time.
We asked 15 of our very best colleagues if we could offer their finest wines as well in the Northern European markets. They all said yes immediately. Here below, you can find all kind of volcanic wines, the very best for restaurants and meals, but also for the real connaisseurs. Although all these grapes are grown in harmony with nature, all picked by hand, all wines been elaborated in an artisanal way, almost all “pure nature”, with as less as possible human intervention in the winemaking process, the result is extraordinary.
